Hey folks just letting you all know that coming to Pages Bookshop in Detroit on July 19 6-730PM, will be Mickey Lolich and Tom Gage to discuss their new book, Joy in Tigertown: A Determined Team, a Resilient City, and our Magical Run to the 1968 World Series.

Many of you will recall that Tom Gage covered the Tigers beat for the Detroit News from 1979 to 2014. In 2015, Gage won the J.G. Taylor Spink Award by the Baseball Writers’ Association of America. Tom is also local SABR member.

Mickey Lolich pitched in the major leagues for 17 years. He is best known for his three complete-game victories in the 1968 World Series and being voted the Most Valuable Player in this World Series.
