The next meeting of the SABR Detroit Chapter will be held on Saturday, August 20, from 1-5 p.m at Everybody Reads bookstore in Lansing. The meeting will feature a book club-style discussion of the works of renowned Lansing baseball historian and prolific author Peter Morris. Peter will speak briefly at the beginning of the meeting and participate in the discussion of his books “Game of Inches”, “Level Playing Fields”, and “Catcher” during the afternoon, with Steve Weingarden moderating the discussions.
