New Exhibit, Detroit Stars & The Negro Leagues at Detroit Historical Society, 6/15

A new exhibit, Detroit Stars & The Negro Leagues, will have an opening reception at The Detroit Historical Society this Saturday, June 15th, from 12-3 PM. Remembering “Mickey” Briggs

Basil “Mickey” Briggs passed away April 25, at the age of 83. Of course Briggs was known as the grandson of Walter O. Briggs longtime owner of the Detroit Tigers.
